Buffy Summers
-Sarah Michelle Gellar-
"I won't wear my button that says, I'm a Slayer. Ask me how!"

NAME:  Buffy Summers

ADDRESS:

ROLE:  As if we don't already know (vampire slayer extraordinaire).  One girl born in every generation that has the strength  and skill to kill vampires. She also kills any demons or monsters that plagues Sunnydale (the hellmouth).

BIMBO?:  From her appearance at times she may look like one and sometimes may say things that would put her into this category.   But a bimbo is something she is definitely not.  As  her science teacher put it before his early demise at the hands of a giant preying mantis, "you can think on your feet, and if she only did her homework."

(Jumps up and kicks a robot that looks very much like it's made of metal)"He's made of metal."
-Buffy-

FRIENDS:  Buffy has few friends perhaps due to the alter ego, as a slayer.  But the few that she has, are very close to her.  They are Willow and Xander, and Cordelia in later episodes.

ROMANCE:  We all knew almost in the first few episodes that Buffy had feelings for Angel, but we only found out Angel's true feelings for Buffy in the episode 'Angel'.  Their love affair is tragic(a type of Romeo & Juliet).  They deny themselves the right to be together because she's a slayer and he's a vampire and the fact that he's much older than she is (224 years older).
But in later episodes we find that Buffy and Angel are willing to overcome many problems so that they can be together.

BEST PART OF BEING A SLAYER:  Not only does Buffy show girl power, but she also get's to say her great lines, show off some of her moves,   and at the same time attract all the great looking guys.

"You forget metal can't hurt me."
"There's something else you forgot too...sunrise."
"...Ahhh..."(Stops after realising that it is only a light outside)
"That's in about nine hours you moron."(Whilst plunging a stake in his chest)
-Buffy & Luke-

WORST PART ABOUT BEING A SLAYER:  Buffy's life is constantly put in danger because of the forces of darkness in Sunnydale.
It doesn't help Buffy's social life and gives her more responsibilities than her other teenager.  In 'Never Kill a Boy on The First Date' Buffy wanted to go on a date with Owen, but finds that being the slayer means that "90% of the time is waiting" for something to happen, and Buffy has to be there when it does.

"Cute guy. Teenager! Post-pubescent fantasies!"
-Buffy-

"A cranky Slayer is a careless Slayer.  Clark Kent has a job. I just want to go on a date."
"Again?"
"No, not again.  This is the first date, there hasn't been another date.  This is the maiden voyage."
-Buffy & Giles-

She also has to kill all vampires, the demons and all the evil in Sunnydale.  Isn't that the job of the slayer?  Well, it is, but it doesn't help if one of them happens to be called Angel, who you love, and he loves you.  She was going to kill him in the episode 'Angel' but she finds out how he had his soul returned and that he couldn't feed off the blood from another human being, and she forgives him.
But now Buffy has to kill him (it's either him or her) because he is that same murderous vampire once more (the one that killed his family and their friends).  Heartbreaking isn't it?  Once she loved and protected him, but now she has to kill him before he kills her!

"I've had it. Spike is going down. You can attack me, you can send assassins after me, that's fine. But nobody messes with my boyfriend."
-Buffy-

Fortunately Buffy has help slaying all kinds of evil from her mentor, the watcher Giles, her friends Willow and Xander, and also Cordelia in later episodes.

"What they were all out of boils and blinding torment."

BEST EPISODE:  Well, there are so many good ones.  But it has to be the episodes where Buffy and Angel get closer and learn more about each other.

"You read my diary? That is not ok. A diary is like a person's most private possession. You don't even know what I was writing about. Hunk can mean a lot of things, bad things. And, and when I said his eyes were penetrating, I meant bulging."
" Buffy..."
" A doesn't even stand for Angel for that matter. It stands for Akmed, a charming foreign exchange student. And that whole fantasy part has nothing to even do with you, at all..."
" Your mother moved your diary when she came in to straighten up. I watched her from the closet. I didn't read it, I swear."
"Oh."
-Buffy & Angel-

FUNNIEST EPISODE:  The one that really sticks out is Halloween.  Buffy who is usually so brave has turned into the damsel in distress thanks to a spell that has been casted and the dress that's she's wearing.

THINGS SAID TO BUFFY:
"Buffy, when I said you could slay vampires, and have a social life, I didn't mean at the same time!"
-Giles-

"Hey, you forgot your stake.  All I can think of, is that your making a little fence."
-Xander-

REFERENCES TO BUFFY:
"The part that gets me, though, is why Buffy is the Vampire Slayer. She's so little."
-Miss. Calendar-

LINES BY BUFFY:

ONE OF THE GREATEST CHALLENGES:  One of the greatest challenges since Buffy has been a slayer is killing the Master.
No, those weren't vampires. Those were just guys in thunder need of a facial. Or maybe they had rabies, it could have been rabies. And that guy turning to dust, just a trick of light. That's exactly what I said the first time I saw a vampire. Well, after I was done with the screaming part.
-Buffy-

STRANGE OCCURENCES:  In 'Angel', Buffy goes after Angel carrying a crossbow, but no one in the whole town notices.
In 'I Robot, You Jane', Buffy has two records.  She also has two birthdays, two GPAs, and  she's also a sophomore and a senior.
